What We Are

Shockwave Pain Institute is a physical clinic — not a franchise storefront and not a med-spa — built around one focused service: provider-led shockwave therapy using the OrthoGold 100. We evaluate musculoskeletal, skin and scarring, wound-healing, bone-healing, and hair-loss concerns when clinically appropriate.

Why We Exist

A lot of people with persistent tendon or joint pain get stuck between "keep resting and hope it goes away" and "consider surgery or another injection." We exist to give patients in the northwest suburbs and North Shore a well-evaluated, non-invasive option in that gap — grounded in an honest read of the evidence, not marketing hype.

We're not against injections, physical therapy, or surgery — they're the right choice for many patients and many conditions. We simply believe patients deserve a clear-eyed, non-invasive option to consider first when it's clinically reasonable, along with an honest explanation of when it isn't.
